After a Key Stage 4 like never before, we would like to pass on our congratulations to our Year 11 students who received their exam results on 25 August 2022. With examinations cancelled in 2020 and 2021, this was a momentous year for our students and we are pleased to say they embraced and rose to the challenge.
In total, 24 of our students achieved five or more grades 9-7. This is over 12% of the year group! In addition, 81 students achieved five or more grades 9-5, and 134 students achieved five or more grades 9-4. These results are very pleasing and will allow our students to progress to the next stage of their education or training.
Christian Horsfield, Assistant Principal, said, “Our students have had a very challenging two years but at no point did they stop persevering and striving for the best outcomes possible. Our students approached their examinations with the determination to succeed. For the majority of our students, this has paid off and they are now ready to move on to their post-16 destination of choice. We cannot wait to welcome our new Year 12 intake in September, especially with the strong study ethic demonstrated this year. We also wish every success to all any of our students moving on to training and apprenticeships.
