Community
We pride ourselves on being a community school open to all young people from the local area, and work closely with parents, local primary schools, colleges, the youth service, local organisations and businesses.
We have excellent sporting facilities including self-contained purpose built accomodation for physical education and sport. A four-court sports hall was opened in February 2006 funded by the Big Lottery Fund. In addition to the sports hall there are two well equipped gymnasiums and six changing rooms.
The outdoor facilities comprise of:
- 12 tennis courts
- 7 netball courts
- 3 outdoor basketball courts
- 2 full sized football pitches
- Athletics track
- Orienteering courses set up within and beyond the grounds
Our sports facilities can be booked by community organisations. In order to book our facilities complete a booking form and return to the school.
