GCSE Results 2011: 94% 5 A*-C, Best in Derbyshire!

The governors of Eckington School joined the Headteacher, Patrick Cummings, in praising staff and students for their excellent efforts which have yielded the schools best ever GCSE results.

In the last two years the 5 A*-C score has rocketed 25% and now stands at an amazing 94%. In the same period the 5 A*-C (including English and maths) has jumped 13% to 60%.

Amongst a large group of high achievers the following deserve particular praise:

  • Charlotte Pheasey (6 x A*, 3 x A)

  • Millie Rowbotham (3 x A*, 8 x A)
  • Ismay Gavelle (3 x A*, 6 x A)
